Wondering what the river is running like this time of year? There is plenty of water right now; the Middle Fork’s class II and III rapids are out and still offering rafters a great ride. Glacier National Park is open year round. Most people only know it for its beautiful Going-to-the-Sun road, but this road is only a small portion of what Glacier National Park has to offer. This year ‘the road’ as locals call it, is scheduled to be opened up completely on June 21st. There are still fabulous hikes that start close to West Glacier where the scenery is just breathtaking!

We have already taken a few rafting trips out, the whitewater rafting in Glacier is great this time of year and guests have also been enjoying the scenic floats in Glacier as well, both trips run the Middle Fork of the Flathead river, so come and join us on the river, raft Glacier National Park!
The rafting season has been just wonderful this summer. The best thing about the 2012 season is that the water is a little higher than it usually is at this time of year, so there is still plenty of fun to be had by all. The whitewater rapids are splashy and the water a beautiful glacial blue/green. The river is so clear that between rapids you can see the trout swimming right from where you are sitting on the raft.
